“The Mediterranean Boys” (Working Tittle) is the story of how two young men, from Sicily and Majorca, and a young French woman turned the local smuggling business in the 1940s into the world's biggest crime organization. Who is the Mafia's big Capo? That's what a judge is trying to discover, when, in the 1980s, she conducts two parallel police interviews in a frenetic race against time.
This film is an assault on the Mafia's tradition and on the genre itself. A very personal and crazy Mediterranean fable about the origins of the Mafia and its big Capo.
